Recently, two of our seasoned employees, Maurice Wilhelm and Kurt Kelly, were promoted to exciting and new positions within our franchise.
Maurice Wilhelm joined our team back in 2014. He started out as an Entry-level Technician and quickly worked his way to a Crew Lead, then Production Supervisor with Specialty Service. His perseverance and leadership skills promoted him to the position he holds today as our Production Manager.
As a Production Manager, Maurice provides Technicians with continued support through training and performance opportunities, ensuring that his crew reaches a high-level of technical and operational knowledge. He assures his team is trained with the skillset to confidently exceed customer expectations on any job.
“One of my favorite parts of working for ServiceMaster by Hedden is the support you get from those around you and the opportunities you get to climb positions within the company. Being a Production Manager gives me the ability to help others grow, as I have throughout my years here. I would like to give special thanks to everyone involved in my training and overseeing my transition into this position.”
Kurt Kelly has worked here for over 34 years. Throughout his career, he has held various job titles such as, Production Technician, Supervisor, Project Manager, Production Manager, and is now our Operations Manager. In his current position, Kurt works closely with our Supervisors to manage and train our production team on all residential and commercial services. He also helps with the daily crew scheduling, oversees our maintenance department, and keeps a system of communication with our project managers and production crew. He ensures that all of our locations provide the same high standard services for our customers.
Kurt enjoys working with the different departments within our company and the variety of tasks he encounters each day. He loves working with new crew members and watching their technical expertise evolve throughout their time working here.
“I teach my crew that, no matter the size of the loss, you should approach each job with a servant’s attitude, keeping in mind that the work we do makes a difference and that the project outcome is a direct reflection of their performance. Ultimately, our goal is to keep our customers happy.”
Thank you, Maurice and Kurt, for all the hard work you do for our company and congratulations on your new positions.
